Jones County EMS Station No. 02 and EOC Ribbon Cutting
November 3rd, 2025
On Monday, November 3rd, we joined county officials and community members to celebrate the ribbon cutting of two major public safety projects in Jones County — the new EMS Station No. 02 and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
These facilities mark an important step forward for the county, providing improved resources and modern spaces that enhance emergency response, coordination, and comfort for first responders.
The new Jones County EMS Station No. 02 is a 3,480-square-foot facility designed to improve both the comfort of EMS crews and the efficiency of emergency response. The station includes:
-
Two ambulance bays for rapid response
-
Sleeping quarters for around-the-clock readiness
-
Bathrooms and a dedicated decontamination room
-
A spacious day room and full kitchen
Down the road, the new Emergency Operations Center provides a centralized hub to coordinate countywide response efforts during emergencies. The facility includes an operations center, day room, and multiple offices — all designed to support communication, collaboration, and quick decision-making when it matters most.
We’re proud to have partnered with Jones County and The Wooten Company on these projects. Both facilities will serve as vital assets to the community for years to come, strengthening the county’s ability to respond to emergencies efficiently and effectively.
At Farrior & Sons, we’re honored to play a role in projects that make a lasting impact on the communities we serve — and we look forward to continuing our work with Jones County in the future.
