Town of Farmville Fire Station Groundbreaking

On September 30th, Farrior & Sons was proud to officially break ground on the Town of Farmville’s brand-new Fire Station — a long-awaited and much-deserved upgrade for the brave men and women who serve this community.
This modern facility will feature five state-of-the-art truck bays, providing ample space for current apparatus and room for future growth. Inside, firefighters will have access to a dedicated decontamination room, radio and communications room, updated restroom facilities, and plenty of storage to keep operations efficient and organized.
For a department currently operating out of a 100-year-old station, this project marks a monumental step forward. Not only will it enhance daily operations and safety protocols, but it will also provide Farmville’s firefighters with the tools and space they need to continue protecting their community at the highest level.
We’re especially honored to be building this station right in Farrior & Sons’ own backyard. This isn’t just another project — it’s personal. Many of us live, work, and raise families in this community, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute to its future in such a meaningful way.
