PostHeaderIcon Dedication Service held at Ormondsville Free Will Baptist Church

On Sunday, May 16, 2010, Ormondsville Free Will Baptist Church held a dedication service for their new 21,000 sf Family Life Center. The dedication was held during their regular Sunday morning worship service which began at 10:45. Many members from the church’s building committee attended the service, as well as Ron Webb the project architect, Bill Farrior Jr. and wife Wendy, Bobby Evans and wife Angie, Will Evans, project superintendent Roger Sutton and his wife Julie. Pastor Ribeiro recognized various members from the building team and as well as numerous subcontractors. Pastor Ribeiro made many positive comments about Farrior’s team and the fine workmanship of the new building. Bobby Evans made brief comments thanking the church for the positive working relationship and for the opportunity to be a part of their growth. The service concluded with everyone attending laying a hand on the walls of the church and on a fellow neighbor while Pastor Ribeiro closed in prayer.

PostHeaderIcon Work begins at Parrott Academy

Farrior and Sons, Inc. began work on Parrott Academy’s new education wing on Thursday, May 6, 2010. The new facility consists of first, second, and third grade classrooms as well as new gang toilets that will service these rooms. The construction will consist of load bearing masonry, steel joist and deck, a membrane roof, and brick veneer. The project is scheduled to open for the new school year this fall. “This is the fifth building we have built for Parrott Academy,” says President Bill Farrior, Jr. “We are excited to have the opportunity to work with Parrott again and appreciate their trust and faith in us to deliver a quality project in such a tight time frame.”
Currently, work is on schedule and is progressing smoothly.

PostHeaderIcon Ambassador Presbyterian Church – Apex, NC

Dedication Services for the Ambassador Presbyterian Church took place on April 18, 2010 at 10:15 am. The new church facility is now located at 1010 Schieffelin Road in Apex, NC.  Those present from Farrior and Sons included Bill Farrior, Jr. and his wife Wendy, Tim Randall and his wife Sherry, Larry Oakley, Scott Fussell and his wife Misty.
The dedication ceremony took place after the normal church service.  The church members converted the sanctuary into a dining hall where lunch was served.  The church had prepared a slide show of pictures taken of the building during construction. This was shown on the two overhead screens at the front of the Sanctuary during the luncheon. Following the meal, Pastor Warren Harvey spoke and recognized the building committee members, as well as Farrior and Sons for a job well done.  Steve Brown, the Head Trustee for the church, and his wife Jill, who lead the interior design committee, were also recognized for their hard work and dedication in making the project a success.  Bill Farrior, Jr. spoke on behalf of Farrior and Sons and thanked Ambassador Presbyterian for allowing Farrior to build their church and wished them much luck and success in the future.
The Ambassador Presbyterian current congregation consists of approximately 150 to 175 members. Their new facility is capable of seating 350. This allows them plenty of growing room for their Church Family.
